I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Education with the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. Outside of work and studying, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have 3 siblings and 5 nephews, I am my parents last child.TV is my go to for relaxation. Nothing beats a good docuseries.
What does your day-to-day entail?
When a claimant (someone who is making a claim against the policy holder/insurance company) is injured, I first investigate the matter to determine liability. If our Insured is deemed liable for the incident, I guide the claimant on receiving the best possible treatment so that they can regain some normalcy or revert to their pre-accident condition. In doing so, I interact with medical practitioners, service providers and in some cases, attorneys-at-law.
Tell us your most memorable achievement to date.
Since enrolling in the Chartered Insurance Professional programme, I have gained insightful knowledge to further my career in insurance. I have completed all 10 courses this summer.
